Yoga Teacher for a Retreat (Knuckles Mountains)

Welcome to Welikande-

We are a Ayurvedic Yoga Retreat Center located 25km east of Kandy, perched in the lush mountains of central Sri Lanka. We’re looking for a volunteer yoga teacher to join our team for the duration of November.

We run continuous retreats that include daily yoga, massage, delicious Ayurvedic food & incredible excursions in aim of connecting our guests to the abundant land, history and culture all around us here at Welikande.

What we are looking for :

A yoga and meditation enthusiast / experienced teacher with a minimum of 1 years teaching experience.
Focuses in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin styles of teachings.
Experience in guided mediations and breath work teachings and technique.
A hospitality driven individual who thrives in social settings.
A applicant with massage therapy training and experience will be greatly considered.
What a volunteer opportunity at Welikande includes:

private accommodation w/ bathroom
3 delicious and nutritious meals per day
the chance to experience the excursions and a special experience of living in a peaceful, wholesome environment in the mountains
paid compensation for massage therapy services
A typical role here will consist of:

Teaching an upwards of 6-7 classes a week.
opportunity to help host ceremony’s, workshop and immersions.
