Welcome friend, my name’s Roberto Laurens, and I’m the Founder, Program Director, and Spiritual Advisor here at Pacha Munay Wellness. Having been born in Colombia, South America has always had a special place in my heart. And though I did spend part of my youth living in the United States, and see myself as multi-cultural and a citizen of the world, I was called to return south in my early 20s but specifically, to Peru. Since then I’ve lived here on and off, and I’ve not only had the opportunity to personally experience the powerful transmission of the land and people, but I’ve been blessed to be able to facilitate retreats and witness the healing and transformation that my guests have received simply by being here. Like all of us, my life has had its share of trials and difficulties — from health scares, to trauma, confusion, and on — and it’s been through enduring those challenging encounters that I’ve awakened to the truth of my being and found purpose and gratitude for it all. Encouraged by both my own natural curiosity, as well as suffering the pain of physical and emotional illness, I dedicated much of my young adult life to exploring consciousness, self-realization, and healing on all levels. It’s from my personal lived experience, as well as that of my team of heart-centered staff, that we offer our unique curation of programs and retreats here in the Sacred Valley.
