Opportunity  description

We are more than just a wellness resort; we are a sanctuary dedicated to transformation and finding clarity. Located in the mystical Sacred Valley of Peru, we seek a passionate Wellness Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply committed to the wellness journey, both personally and professionally, and who seeks to help others find balance and clarity in their lives: Pacha Munay Wellness.

What You Will Do:

  • Bookings and Guest Coordination: Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and communication, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all visitors.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day operations, including organizing schedules, maintaining records, and coordinating with staff.
  • Marketing: SEO blog content creation, creative marketing strategies, etc.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our small, dedicated team to ensure the smooth running of all retreat activities, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Yoga Instruction: Lead one or two yoga classes per week, offering our guests a holistic wellness experience that aligns with our retreat’s values.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest feels supported, welcome, and cared for during their stay, embodying the spirit of Pacha Munay in all interactions.

Who You Are:

  • Educated and Experienced in Wellness Business Management and Marketing: You have fresh ideas and get excited about marketing research, you enjoy being organized and helping things run smoothly.
  • Culturally Sensitive and Open-Minded: Willing to immerse yourself in Andean spirituality and integrate these rich cultural practices into our programs.
  • Communicative and Compassionate: Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with our small, supportive team.
  • Wellness and spiritual context: Foundationally our wellness philosophy is inspired by Marc Hyman’s work and Andreas Mortiz. Spiritually our philosophy is guided by teachings of Adyashanti, Zen Buddhism, Hinduism, and of course Andean Cosmology.

Location and Work Conditions:

  • This part-time position requires 15-30 hours weekly, varying with guest occupancy. It’s perfect for those who balance this job with online work or those building a career in wellness and hospitality.
  • We ask for a minimum commitment of 12 months. After 3 months trial period, if we’re both happy we’ll cover the cost of obtaining your residency in Peru.

Benefits:

  • Housing within the resort and all meals provided during guest stays.
  • Access to resort facilities and ingredients for personal use when guests are not present.
  • Monthly stipend of $300 US, plus a commission of $200 US per guest. We’re working towards our goal of minimum 8 guests per month.
  • There’s opportunities to earn additional income through offering your own wellness services to guests.
  • Free outings to ancient sites with guests.

Philosophy Alignment:

  • We recommend “Unreasonable Hospitality” to better understand our approach to guest service. The teachings of Adyshanti, Mooji, Eckhart Tolle, and the book “Masters of living energy”, for our spiritual philosophy. The books “The Wellness Asset”, “The E-Myth Revised”, and The Sylva Method & Tim Ferris for our business philosophy.
  • We are not a plant medicine retreat. We don’t offer Ayahuasca or other psychoactive plant medicines. We are looking for people who are more interested in exploring healing and spirituality in a grounded way and present in the waking state.

Are you ready to lead with compassion and expertise, helping our guests navigate their wellness journeys while exploring your professional path in the mystical settings of the Andes? Send us your Resume and a cover letter letting us know why you’d like to be part of the team.
