Volunteer Yoga Teacher & Chinese Language Teacher

We are seeking passionate yoga instructors to join our volunteer team in Cambodia who are also interested in sharing the beauty of the Chinese Language with our students. This unique opportunity combines teaching yoga to underprivileged youth with this new teaching role, within our organization. Since 2000, we’ve reached over 200,000 students across Southeast Asia, operating 50 schools that serve 15,000 students daily. Help us expand our holistic education approach by bringing the benefits of yoga to our students while contributing to our broader mission of empowering communities through education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Yoga Instruction:
  • Teach yoga classes to underprivileged youth at our school
  • Develop age-appropriate yoga curricula
  • Promote physical and mental well-being through yoga practice
• Teaching:
  • Deliver engaging and dynamic Chinese language lessons to students
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and teaching materials
  • Assess student progress and provide personalized feedback
  • Participate in and organize cultural activities and language events
  • Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the overall success of our programs

Requirements:

• Certified Yoga Instructor
• Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese
• Proven experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments and student needs
