Hatha Yoga and Meditation Teacher (Guatape Antioquia)

We are a small Buddhist retreat temple nestled in the magical Colombian mountains, seeking a passionate and experienced volunteer yoga and meditation teacher to lead Hatha yoga and beginner mindfulness meditation classes in English & Spanish from November 1st to December 19th.

We offer a unique opportunity to share your teaching expertise in a stunning and inspiring location. In exchange for leading Hatha and Meditation classes, you’ll be invited to participate in a transformative 2 month retreat at La Casa De Loto.

What you’ll do:

• Design and teach engaging Hatha yoga classes that cater to various experience levels.
• Guide students on a daily beginners mindfulness meditation practice.
• Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the retreat center.
• Some weeks you will teach just one two hour hatha yoga class a day, on others a two hour hatha class in the morning and a 1 hour meditation class in the evening followed by some time for q&a or journaling with the guests.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching.
• Yoga teacher certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for sharing the benefits of yoga with others.
• Openness to new experiences and a willingness to immerse yourself in the Colombian mountains.
