Space Description
Our Community Space is a studio aimed at the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of our whole community here in Stone Town, Zanzibar. As the only studio offering yoga and meditation classes in Stone Town, our strongest desire is to encourage everyone to join our classes.
Uzima is the Swahili word for aliveness, wellness. It is important that everyone feels welcome in our studio that’s why we offer a variety of classes and two tier prices as well as classes on donation. On top of our daily classes we run monthly wellness workshops and women circles to empower our community and promote physical and mental health.
