Yoga Teacher for 200hr YTTs

January 7 to April 14, 2025 Yoga Teacher for 200hr YTTs – Paid Position

Hi yogis, we are looking for 1 yoga teacher based in the Americas (North, Central, or South America) to come teach with us this coming January on 4 of our 200 hr Yoga Teacher Trainings in the high Amazon jungle of Moyobamba, Peru, where the weather is fresh and cool.

The YTT dates are the follow:

Jan 7 – 20,     Jan 28 – Feb 10,     Mar 4 – 17,      April 1 – 14

We do not ask you to do any work in-between trainings, and teachers usually travel within Peru, work remotely/online, or relax at Kantu Garden Lodge.

Please send us a short intro about who you are, the yoga certifications you hold, your experience teaching yoga classes, workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings, the languages you speak (you only need English to teach with us), your education outside of yoga, and movement-related social media / website links if any.

You would be teaching as part of a team of 3 teachers.

Please indicate / answer the following in your reply:

1- Your closest airport (or airports if you plan on traveling in 2025).

2- If you have experience teaching Vinyasa yoga classes, as well as Yin and restorative yoga classes.

3- The theoretical lectures categories you have experience or the most interest in teaching (ex. subtle body anatomy, teaching methodology, yoga philosophy, yoga history, etc.)

4- If you have any food or animal (cats/dogs) allergies.

Travel Requirements for Peru:

Peru has (for a few years now) removed proof of vaccination or negative covid test requirements to fly into the country, and travelers can now enter the country simply with their passports (and tourist visas for those citizens who require it).

Most countries’ citizens do not need a travel visa to enter Peru, can spend a maximum of 183 days per year in Peru, but will be stamped for 90 days upon entry, but please verify here or with your local embassy/consulate:

Compensation:

Flights to/from Peru and all transportation, room at Kantu Garden Lodge, 3 meals during YTTs, salary + 1 physiotherapy session per week at Vital Fisio
