We are looking for a down to earth yoga teacher / assistant manager who loves hosting and is ready for a new adventure for the following period:

–>1st of March – 1st of September 2025. 6 months commitment

About Eden on the Chocolata:
Eden on the Chocolata is a retreat center/ ecolodge in the middle of a tropical garden overlooking the ocean, 3 km outside

of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Our retreats are small and intimate. We start and end our day with yoga classes and healthy vegetarian communal meals, where you are able to get to know our guests well. During the day we offer different kinds of workshops and give the guests time to explore or relax. We have a maximum capacity for 19 guests. We have 8 wooden cabanas available for renting, a swimming pool, a yoga deck and a fitness trail.  

Job description:
You will teach yoga and manage Eden for work 4 days a week. Your day starts at 7 AM until bedtime. On your working days, you will be working with another local manager. The other days of the week will be covered by another yoga teacher who lives on site.

Daily tasks in your shift:

Leading retreats.
Teach vinyasa and yin yoga classes
Give yoga related or personal growth workshops
Give sound healing classes
Teach 1 online yoga class a month
Leading cacao ceremonies
Leading Temazcal ceremonies
Welcoming guests, do the check in and provide them with information about the lodge and the area.
Arrange activities and transportation for surf trips, town trips, tours and entertain the guests when needed.
Keep up with social media
Handling the bookings and emails
Doing the administration
Employee profile:
– Able to commit for the period mentioned above
– Very social. Somebody who likes to live on site and participate in activities and entertain.
– Good communication skills, open to feedback.
– Fluent in English and basic Spanish
– YTT certificate
