Yoga Instructor for Coliving Community in Tenerife (From 28th of September 2024)
Hi, we are searching for a yoga instructor to help join our little team teaching 5 days a week in our coliving, co-working community on sunny Tenerife from the end of September onwards for around 2-3 months. We aim to create a community of productivity for remote workers and digital nomads encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle, and for sure our yoga classes are part of this! 🙂 There will be tons of opportunities to explore the island, take part in our activities or just take it easy and enjoy beach or mountain days disconnecting.

Organise the yoga schedule yourself and eventually some times during the week do meditations/other types of yoga extra to the 5 weekly sessions. Normally we switch daily from morning yoga to sunset yoga. And besides the yoga it would be nice if you could help us with some little tasks around the house, gardening, eventually cooking (if you feel confident cooking for 20 people) and other little tasks. We offer fresh breakfast 7 days a week, you would stay in a small wooden house located in our garden and we also cook shared dinners Sunday-Wednesday. All the other days, we try to cook something small or share leftovers for lunch.

If you like living in a community, being active, the ocean and living in a nicely located big house with a pool and don't mind being surrounded by people who work remotely, this might be the perfect fit for you :)
What to do at Destination:
There's so much to do here! First at Maraya we have an active community with loads of opportunities to get involved in activities, as well as a big garden to be involved with if you'd like. Around Maraya you have the opportunity to go hiking, snorkelling or surfing. You can also visit the local towns of Candelaria and Punta Larga for a local coffee shop or restuarant. Then there's Tenerife - an island with so many activities to enjoy and areas to explore!

The room would be a private (not shared!) small wooden house. It is quite cozy and located in our designated volunteer area in the garden under some trees, in nature.
Food:
Breakfast and dinners are included (4 times per week we cook for guests, the other nights we cook left overs or go out for dinner). We try to only cook vegetarian, only on special occasions we cook fish or sometimes meat, but it is always vegetarian friendly. We try to use as many veggies from our garden as we can and have a nice variety of yummy meals. Inbetween the cooked dinners we either cook as a team, individually or join the guests to go out for dinner.
