Where we are: Located within Ecuador’s Yasuní Biosphere Reserve and on the borders of the famous Yasuní National Park — one of the most biodiverse areas of the planet — our eco-lodge was among the first Amazon rainforest lodges in Ecuador and today is still regarded as the premier eco lodge in Ecuador’s Amazon basin.
Uniquely located on the shores of stunning Lake Garzacocha, a full 70 km into the rainforest from the nearest urban center, the lodge is a veritable cocoon of comfort and luxury, offering breathtaking views of the incredible life in the Amazon from wherever you are.
The work: You will be required to teach up to four 60 minute classes per day (average 1 or 2 per day); individual and group classes; guiding safe & effective exercises to a variety of clients with different levels of practices; taking care of work equipment and space; welcome customers; promote yourself; be familiar with the resort and all its offering, updating the yoga schedule; effective internal communication within the lodge staff of all areas.
***We would like someone to commit for 1 month, ideally for november or december, 2024.
Basic requirements:
* 200 hours accredited as minimum
* Been teaching for more than 1 year
* Able to teach beginners over the age of 50 with movement limitations
* English fluency, ideally has some basic Spanish skills, too (not absolutely required)
