Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and professional videographer in Ahangama, Sri Lanka, From from October 25th to 31st, with expertise in capturing high-quality footage, particularly within the context of yoga retreats and wellness experiences. Our ideal candidate is passionate about wellness and mindful living, understands the essence of yoga and retreat environments, and is dedicated to producing visually captivating content that resonates with a global audience.

Responsibilities:

• Capture and produce high-quality videos that showcase the essence of yoga retreats and wellness events.
• Collaborate closely with the retreat team to understand the vision and message behind the events.
• Utilize professional-grade videography equipment, including 4K cameras, gimbals, drones, and high-quality audio recording gear, to ensure flawless footage.
• Provide end-to-end video production, including editing, color grading, and sound design.
• Deliver final products within agreed-upon deadlines.
• Ensure seamless communication with team members, guests, and retreat participants to create a comfortable and collaborative environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a professional videographer, with a portfolio showcasing past work in yoga retreats, wellness, or similar lifestyle-focused projects.
• Expertise in operating high-quality equipment such as DSLR/mirrorless cameras (Canon, Sony, or equivalent), stabilizers, drones, professional lighting, and audio recording equipment.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English to effectively interact with international clients and guests.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver completed projects on time, ensuring top-tier production value.
• Interest or background in yoga, mindfulness, or wellness, which is highly valued in this role.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a creative approach to storytelling through video.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience shooting in natural light settings, especially in scenic, tropical environments like Sri Lanka.
• Familiarity with post-production software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) to create polished and professional videos.
• Understanding of the unique atmosphere and culture surrounding yoga and wellness retreats.

Location:
Based in Ahangama, Sri Lanka, with flexibility to move to other locations as needed.
