Massage Therapist

We are looking for a qualified and experienced massage therapist, to lead our spa operations and live on the island during the season. Our season is between November through to the end of July.

Accommodation, breakfast and lunch are provided. 50% of the spa services goes to the spa therapist plus tips.

Since the massage schedule varies depending on the type of clients at the resort, there are busier times than others. We have many families, fishing groups, and wellness retreats. Our wellness retreats are our busiest times, and you can expect around 15-20 or more massages in 5 days. During down time, ideally the therapist would also be willing to work in our restaurant servicing our guests if there are no spa services booked. This would be additional paid work.

The ideal candidate can perform the following treatments:
Sports or therapeutic massage
Swedish or relaxing massage
Hot stone massage
Facials and body scrubs

Responsibilities:

Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
Keep documentation and maintain clients files
Keep a clean spa
Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs, allergies and expectations
Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
