BEAM ACADEMY, a vibrant and growing children's yoga and mindfulness company, is on the lookout for dynamic, engaging, and flexible individuals to join our freelance team in London! If you love working with kids and teens and have a passion for yoga, this is the perfect opportunity to inspire young minds through fun and mindful movement.

About the Role: As a BEAM ACADEMY instructor, you’ll be teaching yoga and mindfulness to children and teens in children’s centres, nurseries, and schools across London. You’ll lead after-school clubs, curriculum classes, and sessions timed around children’s busy school days—usually between 9am-11:30am and 1pm-4:30pm.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Fun, engaging, and positive
• Highly motivated and adaptable
• Available to teach at least 3 mornings (9am-11:30am) and 3 afternoons (1pm-4:30pm) per week

An enhanced DBS check is a bonus, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry—you can apply through us!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead yoga and mindfulness classes for children and teens
• Create a supportive, positive, and safe environment for learning
• Complete our 4-day Children's Yoga Teacher Training Course
• Maintain a portable speaker and MP3 player for use during classes
• Undergo enhanced DBS checks, first aid, and safeguarding training
• Obtain valid insurance (we can guide you through this process)

What You Need:

• No formal yoga teaching qualifications are necessary—full training is provided!
• A personal yoga practice is a must.
• You’ll need to be based in London and available during weekday mornings and afternoons.
