Host and Yoga Teacher (Puerto Plata)

We are a small grass roots beachfront retreat center in a surf town on the be north coast of the Dominican Republic.  We provide a very healthy environment for clients to get back to basics .

We are in need of a yoga teacher/host who can help us with content writing for marketing .

In this role you are responsible for hosting 2 days/ week – weekends-,  4 yoga classes/week, and content writing including blog posts, website copy, social media posts, and marketing materials.

During your hosting days, you are responsible for  an evening yoga class, checking in with the the local staff, minor administrative work and hosting dinner.

We have a fantastic local team that does the cooking, cleaning, maintenance and gardening,  so that you can take your time with the clients.  While the team is very capable, they do require input and assistance, which is why Spanish  language is a must.

During the week we have two other hosts,  providing the clients a healthy existence enabling them to heal and improve their physical and mental health.  Most of the clients are working remotely and are independent,  yet occasionally in  need  of attention.

Requirements:

• Time Commitment: 6 month min, ideally a year
• Workload is approx. 5 hours/day on your hosting days, and flexible for your marketing work
• Must have working knowledge of Spanish and have intercultural awareness
• Ability  to work independently and handle responsibility
• Interact with guests as a host
• Experience with social media content (posts, videos)
• Experience with writing content
• Must have a smartphone / computer
