Event Assistant / Karma Yogi

Are you passionate about yoga and wellbeing?
Would you like to listen in on sessions about emotional wellbeing and how to improve it through yoga, intuitive eating and neuro-linguistic programming?
Are you interested to see how a small event is put together from behind the scenes and are good at taking pictures?
Do you have a free weekend and are looking for some work experience?
We’re looking for someone to help with assistance at our mini wellness retreat in Central London.
It’s an unpaid opportunity giving you free behind the scenes access and a chance to experience the preparation of a yoga & wellness related event. While helping out with some organisational tasks on the day, you will be able to and enjoy the workshop sessions for free and will also be gifted a goodie bag like all attendees.
We’d ask you to:
take pictures throughout with a professional camera (Canon camera will be provided)
open the door for any latecomers and greet the guests with a big smile
help with transport of goodie bags to the event space on the day of the event (no driving licence required, we don’t have a lot of heavy things to bring, but an extra pair of hands will be helpful
laying out the mats and props before the event
laying out snacks and goodie bags
help with small cleaning jobs after the event like wrapping up the mats, sweeping the floor and wiping the tables
